                         Angelina's bare feet story

People always wonder why Angelina is in bare feet. In all the interviews and videos I have watched, here is the story as I understand it. Angelina and her family were walking down a road in Iran, where her grandmother is from, and a young girl, a street vendor in bare feet, ran up to Angelina and commented what nice shoes Angelina was wearing. Angelina gave the young girl her shoes, leaving there in bare feet. The young girl had commented she wanted to be a doctor when she grew up. The young girl said to Angelina that she "would pray for her to have a happy future". Angelina in turn, told the young girl that whenever she performed live, she would do it bare foot in her memory of the young girl and in her honor. Some have said she vowed never to appear on stage again wearing shoes until all the world's children had them. Angelina was about 6 years old at the time. Email me with any corrections.
